A good place to check your run panels for swelling/deterioration is where they slide into the back wall and into the floor channel. Make sure that the silicone seal is still intact, and that there are no gaps or separations between the panel and the aluminum that would allow fluid to penetrate the panel. If you see this occurring, remove the old silicone by using a chisel or a razor scraper. Replace it with a clear 45-year 100% silicone product. We sell the recommended 45-year silicone needed to replace any missing silicone on your run panels. In addition, it is also important to check for loose or missing fasteners throughout your entire run system.

This process should be completed four times a year to increase the longevity of your system.
